For the last month I’ve had to take some time off work as I’ve been too tearful and sad to function. I work in B2B dealing with investors via phone and face to face and I would find myself having to excuse myself to the toilet urgently to go and cry. This has had a huge impact on my work life, my marital life, my mind in general- I thought i’d fully lost the plot. Mr doctor has given me anti depressants but I won’t want to plug a problem with pills that make me a zombie. What has anybody else done about work and this time?
I am in this same situation today! I was sat at my desk and just felt myself tearing up! I have gone home now and have no idea what to even say to work! I just told my manager I was unwell and needed to leave! It is awful! I would actually suggest antidepressants though! They may seen like just a temporary fix but they can really improve your mood and help with menopause in general! (not that I can talk today haha)
