I have become so snappy and short fused with everybody around me. I’m frustrated with everybody and frustrated with myself once I have realised my mood, all my doctor has said is to try self help- which is mindfulness etc … mindfulness is only good when you’re actively being mindful, not in heats of moments and in sporadic times of people annoying you! Any ideas? Or, anybody feeling the same? Maybe i’m just becoming a grumpy old woman and this is the new me.
Welcome Helen,
We can all completely relate to this as many women in their menopause have these episodes. We advise that you are also on a good quality vitamins which include B12, B6 , D3 and magnesium as much of these are needed to help with our nervous system and to help sleep. Sleep deprivation can cause mood swings and the meditation Apps are great and calming. and one in particular is Oprah and Deepak and really helped to
We have lots of exercise advice coming up on our social media and our website and that might eleviate some of the systems and also being on this community can help with your stress levels as we will be having some great chats. keep us posted , Helen
Episodes sounds a bit condescending. I feel the same Helen. I had my daughter in law tell my son to always stay with me when the kids were around and made me feel like I was a danger to them. I have a short fuse and snap when people are being annoying but I also see it as I cant be bothered to take their crap anymore and will justt be honest with what i say. Maybe im the grumpy old woman ha
