Vegetarian January. I have just celebrated 12 mon Vegetarian January.  I have just celebrated 12 months of being a non meat eater and I have never felt so good . I have lost at least 8lb in weight even though I was not overweight. Areas that needed attention like stomach and bottom has considerably decreased and then toning up with Yoga and exercise has meant my overall shape has changed for the best . I feel that my joint pain has decreased and my asthma has definitely improved too and I feel my immune system has really got stronger as I always maintain a good variety of vitamins and supplements. Even though I still have fish once or twice a month , I still enjoy my grilled vegetables, halloumi , mushroom risotto and lots of amazing fresh vegetable soups with lashings of Parmesan cheese.. also increased fruit intake and I have a pea protein shake , with flaxseed, Cacoa powder, most mornings , I therefore feel I am getting sufficient protein.. it is so worth a go at being a vegetarian and I am so pleased to have made it for a year and have no regrets as I feel so good even in my menopausal years . 💕🌿. #hotflushclub #menopause #perimenopause #vegetarian #vegan #vegetables #newyear #newyou #newdiet #exercise #yoga #pilates #womenshealth #womensupportingwomen #womenempowerment #mentalhealth #stress #anxiety #peaprotein #immunesystem #lockdown2021 #carrots @shiva_shaktiyoga @prone_pilates
Only a few days into the New Year and many of us m Only a few days into the New Year and many of us may be feeling low and sluggish.. exactly the time to look at your diet , increase supplements as your immune system has probably taken a hit over the festive season and increase exercise or choose something that really helps to exhilarate your confidence and combate anxiety. My yoga class starts again this week and my class and how it is taught is probably one of the reasons I have coped better this year mentally and physically ..
